Last Sunday 21^st June, Bedford hosted the second Southern Athletics League match of the season.

 

Overall Bedford came 2^nd again behind Milton Keynes AC.

 

This means that Bedford lie 2^nd in the League table for Division 3 North.

 

There were many excellent performances and first places for Bedford athletes with Lyla Danobrega winning the Woman of the Match award for her club U20 record in the 1500m Steeplechase and Zaphaniah Bryan winning the Man of the Match award for his 2.05m in the High Jump. Scott Johnson also got a M35 High Jump club record of 1.88.
