Congratulations to John Eves, who set a new club M40 20 mile road best of 1:49:29 in the Essex 20 on 17th March.
A contingent of Bedford and County athletes were highly successful at the European Masters Indoor Championships in Torun, Poland held between 17th and 23rd March, with many exceptional medal winning performances being recorded:
The Men's A Team finished just outside the medals in fourth place at the Southern 12 stage road relays at a windy Milton Keynes on Sunday 24th March, having led in the early stages of the race. In a committed team performance, Jack Goodwin's 25:40 was the fastest long leg of the day, and Noah Campion's 14:54 was the fourth fastest short leg. The B team came in a very commendable 26th.
There were also some great results in the Under 15 and Under 17 championships - see below for those.
Well done to all those who ran.

Congratulations to Lily Farr, who finished an excellent 21st in the Inter Girls race at the English Schools Cross Country Championships last weekend.
Lily was boxed in the stampede of 343 runners at the start and found it difficult to negotiate the phalanx of runners spread across the course in front of her. As space eventually began to open up, she worked her way through the field from 75th place to finish an outstanding 21st - only 10 seconds behind 10th place and an international vest.
Theo Beale also enjoyed a good run to finish 88th in a field of 329 runners. Congratulations to all the Bedford and County athletes who took part.
There were some notable performances at the Podium 5k Festival in Leicester on Saturday 16th March.
Thaila-Jade Mason rounded off her indoor season with a fifth place finish at the National U17 Pentathlon Championships in Sheffield last weekend.
Her standout performance came in the 60m hurdles, where she ran an outstanding race to smash her personal best, reducing it from 9.01 sec to 8.85 sec – the second fastest of the day. She also notched up a 1cm PB in the shot, recording 9.24 metres. Her total score of 3336 points was also a personal best.
Congratulations to Stephen Simmons, who has broken two Senior Men's club indoor records this winter. Stephen's new marks are 5069 points for the Heptathlon, set at Sheffield on 6th January, and 8.34 seconds for the 60m Hurdles, set at Lee Valley on 2nd December.
Congratulations to Edith Caux, who has set two new W65 club records over the last few days. Edith's new records are for 200m (32.13 seconds) and 400m (75.78 seconds). These were set in Lyon, France on 1st and 2nd March respectively.
