Darren Kerr completed a very successful trip to the European Indoors Masters Track & Field Champs by breaking his own club M55 Hammer Record with 49.02m in coming 7^th in this Championship; a higher position than his ranking coming into the Championships.

 

Additionally he also came 7^th in the M55 Weight with a throw of 17.17m - a Personal Best and the longest ever throw by a Bedford Club member (this is not a club record event).

 

He started the Championships off by coming 8^th in the M55 Shot with a throw of 11.90m- just 9cm short of his recent club record.
