Wednesday 6th May saw the first match in the Eastern Masters League at Milton Keynes.
Bedford's Men were seeking to retain their title which they won last September at Thurrock, beating local rivals Marshall Milton Keynes AC into 2nd place.
Bedford's Women were seeking to qualify for the Final again as they did last year for the first time in over 20 years.
There are 16 teams in the League spread across East Anglia with 5 teams in Bedford's West Division.

Bedford's men made a great start to retaining their title winning Milton Keynes' home match.
A team of 15 scoring men won 14 individual events with a club record for Andrew Leach in the M60 1500m.
