The young athletes of the club had another fine turn out on a cool, damp Sunday at Stevenage for the 2nd EYAL match. With a bigger and stronger team than the first match we finished a very strong 3rd place.
Overall match results were:

- 4th Cambridge 241
- 5th West Suffolk 115
- 6th Peterborough 102
The girls finished 2nd in the U13 & U15s and 1st in U17.
The following girls all set new PBs Violet W, Scarlett G, Esme N (3), Mia F, Etta H (2), Isobel S, Jasmine D, Yemisi S (2), Iyimefin E (2), Evie W (2), Leah C, Lauren S, Holly V (2), Rosie P, Casey-Mae C, Jess W, Jess F (2), Joanne J, Ana M and Eva H.
A string wins came from Mia F U13 discus, Lily F U15 1500m, Chloe K pole vault, U15G 4 x 100m, Milly D U17 800m, Lyla D U17 1500m, Jess F U17 long jump and shot, Joanne J U17 triple jump, Keeley H U17 discus, Sadie W U17 Javelin and U17 4 x 100m.
B string wins came from Emily D U15 long jump, Jess W U17 200m, Katie O U17 800m, Eva H U17 long jump and discus, Kaylen C U17 triple jump, Keeley H U17 shot.
After the last couple of years things are starting to turn around and the juniors look set for a good future.
