Congratulations to Gracie Wall, who won the silver medal at the Schools International in Belfast on Saturday 16th July.
This was Gracie's first England call up and her first experience of international competition, and although she would have liked to have finished one place higher, she was please with her performance. Gracie comfortably cleared every height at the first time of asking up to and including her 1.75 metre PB, and was leading the event until the final height of 1.78. Gracie failed this height, and it was cleared by an Irish jumper, who won the gold. Gracie's next major challenges will be the UK Championships and the Southern Championships, which are both in August. And she has been selected for the three day home nations school games at Loughborough in September.
