Now that athletics is back in full swing there are a number of notable performances to record.

Rebecca Dean competed at Sandy on Saturday 25th September and achieved 2 personal bests - 100m - 37.43 secs, and 400m  - 3mins 00.50secs.  Katie Connolly also competed in the 100m, her first ever track race and recorded 30.94 secs.  Jade Olulode tackled the Bedford Park run for the second time and, although tipping out of her chair at the first bend, finished strongly to complete the course.

Next Sunday, 3 October, Bedford Wheelchair Racing has 3 athletes entered for the mini marathon from Tower Bridge to The Mall - Varun Bandi, Tracy Olulode and Katie Connolly.  We wish them every success!
