There were some fantastic performances at the Aldershot Road Relays on Saturday 24th September, with the Senior Men's A Team finishing 4th, the M50 team finishing 5th and the Under 13 Boys team finishing 4th.
Bedford and County AC are seeking a health and safety coordinator to oversee health and safety tasks at the club.
What does the health and safety coordinator do? Generally, the health and safety coordinator ensures members are accessing club activity safely, protecting them from harm, incidents, and accidents.
Please note that this year's Extraordinary General Meeting has been pushed back by one week, and will now be held at 7.45 pm on 4th October 2022 in the Clubhouse at Bedford International Athletics Stadium. Howard Darbon writes, “After a quiet start to the season, the club’s Wheelchair Athletes have been involved in a number of races since the end of July.
Competing at Sandy on 28th July 2022 were Katie Connolly and Sean Chigumba.
Both athletes set season opening times in the 100m and 800m. For Sean, times of 25.1 seconds and 3:02.8 were his first experiences of competition in a racing chair. Katie set a personal best in the 100m of 27.6 seconds, and her time of 4:13.8 in the 800m was her first attempt at the 2 lap distance.

Congratulations to Simon Coombes, who set two M50 Club records during last weekend's EMAC final. These were for 800m (2:11.76) and 1500m (4:24.00).
